We make our revenue by recycling the metal at processing facilities, so we can offer no-cost pickup for standard household appliances, construction scrap, and commercial metal. The only exceptions are extremely small loads (single items far from our service area) or specialty removals requiring extra equipment—and we'll always tell you upfront if any charges apply.
How fast can you pick up my scrap metal?
Same-day service is available in Hamilton, Burlington, Stoney Creek, and parts of Mississauga when you call before noon. For other GTA and Niagara locations, we typically offer next-day pickup. During busy seasons, pickups may be scheduled 2-3 days out. Call 289-674-3323 for the earliest available time slot.
Do I need to separate different types of metal?
No, you don't need to separate anything. Our team will handle sorting on-site or at our facility. However, if you do pre-sort metals (especially copper, brass, and aluminum), you may qualify for higher cash payments since clean, separated metals have more value.
Will you pick up items from inside my home or business?
Absolutely. We don't require you to move items to the curb. Our team will come inside your home, go to your basement, navigate stairs, or access your warehouse or construction site—wherever the metal is located. We bring all necessary equipment and handle the heavy lifting.
Do you remove appliances with refrigerants?
Yes, we're certified to handle refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, and other appliances containing refrigerants (Freon, R-134a, etc.). We follow all EPA and Ontario environmental regulations for proper refrigerant recovery and disposal. There's no extra charge for this service.
What's the minimum amount of scrap metal you'll pick up?
We don't have a strict minimum. If you have a single appliance or a small load of metal, we'll still come pick it up within our regular service areas. For extremely small items far outside our primary coverage zone, we may suggest batching with other pickups in your area—just call and we'll work out the details.
Do you pay cash for scrap metal?
Yes, for high-value non-ferrous metals like copper, brass, and aluminum. Payment is provided on-site after we weigh and assess the material. Do you work on weekends?
We offer pickup services Monday through Saturday, 7AM-6PM. Sunday service is not currently available, but you can schedule a Saturday pickup for weekend convenience. Book early in the week for best Saturday availability.
